The Tudor Rose overlaid ontop of a Nephroid in Photoshop.
I made the opacity at about 25% so you can see through the Tudor Rose and compare.
Notice how the roses items match the pattern of the Nephroid and its intersections.
The Nephroid is produced andrendered with a parallel/top view camera so there is no distortion in the cup with red paint.

In this image I actually put the Tudor Rose as a texture on a plane under the
red paint and made the red paint transparent all directly in the render scene itself to make everything fit together.
Notice how the intersections of the Nephroid align perfectly with the pattern of the Tudor Rose.
This is how it looks in perspective so you can see it as it would look in a normal situation.
The above images are taken from the TOP with a parallel camera view so to avoid distortion
so perspective does not mess with the real actual true vision in parallel vision.
Remember it is called Castics - the lights created you see as patterns producting the Nephroid.
Caustics are reflections such as those seen in optics and mirrors. As they say it is all smoke and mirrors. And THAT is true.
